'I had the pleasure of working with Mr Chaudhry for 21 years in the cardiothoracic unit at CHH . I remember Mobi being a registrar and doing ward rounds with him to him then being a consultant cardiac surgeon . He was a kind caring and gifted surgeon. Always had the time of day for you. He has left a huge hole in our cardiothoracic department.'

'Mobi was a true Gentlemen, I have known him from his Research Reg days in Glasgow where I first met him. He was always meticulous and his attention to detail was remarkable.
Over the years his contribution to cardiothoracic surgery and training has grown from strength to strength. He was an important faculty member and course director of SCTS Education and always brought his enthusiasm and infective smile to the courses. A valuable member of SCTS Education and SCTS and a great person. Rest in peace! Great loss'

'Dear Mobi, my acquaintance with you started with attendance at the meetings, where your pleasing personality, a countenance radiating positivity, good humour and warmth, was a welcome sight. Your enthusiasm at the Belfry meeting was legendary and further cemented our friendship. There are abundant stories about your surgical prowess, training abilities and altruistic attitude, which will be fondly remembered and hard to replace. The true tribute to you, will be to emulate your ideals and continue the good work.
You will be missed by colleagues and friends and above all your family. Rest in peace, Mubarak'

'Mobi Chaudhry was our SCTS Co Cardiac National Tutor. His loss will be felt by all in SCTS Education. In the all too short time he spent as Co Cardiac Tutor, he had built on his years of commitment to SCTS Education as a director and faculty. His hands-on approach meant he was to be found at many of the SCTS courses this year, most recently at our new Critical Conditions Course in May, where his enthusiasm and commitment to teaching were in evidence, delivered with the typical joy we all recognised in any interaction with him. SCTS Education sends our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues'

'Words cannot describe the impact this man had on my life. When I started surgical training you took me under your wing, instilled confidence in me, taught me how to be a diligent, skilful surgeon and most importantly how to be an empathetic, caring person.
Mr Chaudhry optimised what it is to be a mentor. Not only did he teach you how to be an excellent surgeon, but also a decent human. He was always the person people turned to in times of need and always gave the best advice. His generosity was limitless.
I will miss your infectious smile and chuckle, the sound of your wooden clogs walking up and down the theatre corridor and your calm demeanour when things go wrong. I'm honoured to have had the privilege of being one of your trainees. I feel I still had so much more to learn from you, however your teachings will live on through your trainees. We will make you and your family proud!
May Allah bless your soul and elevate you to the highest standing in Jannah. I will miss you tremendously. Thank you for everything Mr Chaudhry.'

'Mr Mobi Chaudhry, great human, very good surgeon, excellent trainer and dedicated teacher. Mobi, more importantly you are one of my elder brothers for the last 15 years. Your compassionate caring altruistic attitude not only to patients but also friends & colleagues is unforgettable. Your unreservedly helping tendency is incomparable. The surgical principles & ethos you have instilled into me will never be erased. It's more than 2 weeks; I find it very difficult to term with, like many of my friends & colleagues at Castle Hill. You are an irreplaceable loss to me and the rest of cardiothoracic surgery world. May your soul rest in peace, Mobi. Your legacy will be carry forward. My deepest condolences to your wife, kids family & friends'

'Mr Chaudhry was my supervising clinician during my Cardiothoracic rotation at CHH. He was always kind, encouraging and approachable. Once while scrubbed in to observe and assist him during a CABG, he recited verse after verse from several of Iqbal’s poems, all the while going about the surgery. It is one of my fondest memories as a trainee, succinctly highlighting his brilliance, skill and calm demeanor.
Rest in peace Mr. Chaudhry'

'I just found out about this sad news on September 1. I went to school with Mobi in 1980 in Lahore. He was my best buddy there and we used to spend our recess time walking together and chatting. He was the smartest and the most friendly person I have ever come across. He was compassionate, caring, and polite to everyone even as a teenager. We all loved him. Despite not being in regular touch with him over the years, he remained one of the most favorite friends in my life. I will miss him. I send my deepest condolences to his family. (I will also appreciate if I could get a contact of the family to pay my respects).'

'Mubi was an amazing person, colleague and friend. We worked together at Southampton general hospital back in 1996 and I still remember the first day at work having a drink with Mubi and other newly appointed in the rotation. How nice person he was. He had a smile on his face, never complained and always tried to be supportive and helpful. Then, I was so happy to meet him every year at eacts meetings , he did not change at all after so many years.
I am terribly saddened by his unexpected loss, world is uglier without people like Mubi. I feel extremely sorry for his wife and children, I offer my most sincere condolences and I wish them well.
Rest in peace Mubi.'

'I had the good fortune of being Mubarak’s class fellow at St Anthony’s High School in Lahore. He was a very jovial, kind and smiling personality. A top achiever he was and remained as is evident from his professional career. While we had not been in touch after school, his passing away certainly feels like a great personal loss. My condolences to the family.
Rest in peace Mubarak & hope to meet you up there!'

'I had to visit Castle Hill today for postvop checks and was informed of the sad passing of Mr Choudhury. Oh my gosh.....It really upset me to think that the lovely man who saved my life had lost his! My operation was cancelled 3 times during a 9 month period and each time he came to see me and explained and was also saddened that he wasn't able to do his job. When I eventually had my op he came to see me several times as I was kept in hospital for a few weeks due to infection. He was a lovely, calming presence...full of smiles, cheer and encouragement. What a loss for everyone....his family, colleagues....all who knew him along with every patient he has dealt with or saved their lives. My condolences to all those who knew him x'

'When I arrived at Castle Hill back in February 2923 I was a nervous wreck. The pre op chat with Mr Choudhury went a long way to calm my nerves for the triple bypass he was to perform the next day.
Seeing him pop in while was in ITC was also reassuring for me.
Reading that he has passed is immensely saddening for me, to think the man who kept me alive is no longer with us leaves me crestfallen.
A caring and talented human being, a great loss to all'

'I am incredibly saddened to hear of Mr Chaudhry's passing. He saved my life in June 2020 with a triple bypass procedure. He took time to talk to me, reassure me and make me feel better all with a wonderful twinkle in his eye. I could not have been in better hands. I last saw him in his York clinic. I will be forever grateful to him for operating during covid, for caring for everyone around him and for his dedication to cardiothoracic surgery. Rest in peace. Sincere condolences to his family and all who are missing him. Such a lovely man.'
