About the unit

London Bridge Hospital Cardiothoracic unit has been at the forefront of cardiac intervention and cardiac surgery for many years, delivering excellent care to patients from all over the world. 26 private rooms and critical care facilities which include HDU, CCU and ITU are supported by internationally reputed consultants. The successful outcomes can be attributed to the healthcare professionals following a holistic treatment programme.

Rehabilitation and follow up

London Bridge Hospital supports the recommended cardiac rehabilitation guidelines (NSF 2000). With close links to community cardiac rehabilitation services, we facilitate referrals to the appropriate PCTs and GPs for patients for their ongoing recovery. Our service has the additional benefit of a dedicated cardiac community liaison nurse based at the London Bridge Hospital offering post discharge support, advice and follow-up.
