Nominations Open for the 2027 SCTS Trust Appointed Doctor Awards

Dear Trust Appointed Doctors,

We are delighted to announce that the SCTS will continue introduce the annual awards at the next SCTS Annual Meeting in Birmingham (2027).

Award 1: Best TAD of the Year — nominated by colleagues in recognition of clinical, academic, and personal achievements.

Award 2: Best Department Supporting TADs — nominated by TADs, recognising departments that provide an excellent clinical, academic, and cultural environment for Trust Appointed Doctors.

Please find attached the nomination forms for both awards. We strongly encourage everyone to take part in the nomination process. This initiative represents an important step forward for TADs, allowing us to highlight supportive units and encourage all departments across the UK to place greater focus on their TADs. These awards also serve as recognition and appreciation for your continued hard work and dedication.
