SCTS Representative to the Royal College of Surgeons of England Council

Following a request for nominations, the SCTS is pleased to confirm the election of Mr Rana Sayeed, the current Honorary Secretary, as the SCTS Representative to the RCS England Council for a four-year term starting in July 2025.

The SCTS Representative on the RCS England Council supports collaboration and communication between the SCTS Executive and the College Council to promote the interests of cardiothoracic surgery. The representative attends the SCTS Executive to update on relevant RCS business and participates as a full RCS England Council member.

We wish Rana every success in his role representing the Society and the specialty at the RCS.
