Acute care pathways for pneumothorax and acute airways surgery

The SCTS thoracic sub committee put a significant amount of work into developing recommended acute care pathways for pneumothorax and acute airways surgery.  It was clear from the last round of GIRFT deep dive visits that there is considerable variation around the country in how acute thoracic surgery is organized and delivered, which GIRFT are hoping this project will address.
 
The pathways are co-badged by SCTS and GIRFT, and are intended to summarize best practice for acute surgical pathways for these procedures.
