We are delighted to announce that a unique opportunity has arisen from partnership between SCTS and AstraZeneca to cultivate the next generation of leaders of thoracic surgical oncology trials though support for a one-year full time MSc in Medical Statistics including tuition fees and a monthly stipend to a total of £66,000.

The first of these fellowships will be open to candidates with a career interest in thoracic surgery, experience in clinical research, and ambition to design and conduct of thoracic surgical oncology trials. The successful candidate is expected to take up the position in 2022 academic year (the post is also open to candidates currently undertaking an MSc in Medical Statistics in the 2021 academic year).
