Originally from London, I studied Medicine at UCH/Middlesex Hospitals and trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery at St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals before moving to Birmingham for a period of Research (MD) and Transplantation. I completed my training on The West Midlands Rotation and was appointed a Consultant at The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton in 2001.

I have worked in Brighton ever since and have performed well over 2000 major heart operations since starting there. My practice is in Adult Cardiac Surgery with particular sub-interests in surgery for atrial fibrillation (including minimally invasive) and aortic and coronary surgery.

I am married with two daughters and try to spend my free time with my family.
