Two days (13 - 14 April 2026) will consist of online lectures. Meanwhile, the last two days (15 - 17 April 2026) will consist of in-person Viva sessions which will be held at Ashorne Hill. Content includes: Coronary artery disease Aortic valve disease Mitral / tricuspid valve disease Arrhythmia surgery Cardiopulmonary bypass Cardiac ITU management Heart failure, cardiac tumours, pericardial disease & trauma Thoracic aortic disease Congenital cardiac disease Cardiac instruments This course is aimed at Nationally Appointed Surgical Trainees and Trust Appointed Doctors in the UK (via application process) due to be taking part 2 of the FRCS (C-Th).
