Michael R. Gooseman is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Hull, United Kingdom.  He has a busy thoracic surgical practice and is a high volume robotic surgeon.  He is the chair of the ESTS thoracic trauma working group and the co-chair of the EACTS/ ESTS project on chest wall stabilisation after trauma. He is a member of the court of examiners, Royal College of Surgeons.   He is driven to provide high quality, evidence based surgical care that is tailored to each individual patient, always striving for excellent clinical outcomes.
