I was actively involved in Heart and Lung Transplantation until recently. My main specialist interest is Aortic Surgery and I am the Lead Aortic Surgeon for Manchester University Foundation NHS Trust. I was the Clinical Director from 2008-2010 and the Training Programme Director for CT surgery for both North West England and Mersey Regions from 2014-2019.
