New Subcommittee Appointments

The Society are delighted to announce the appointment of two new co-chairs to our clinical subcommittees.  Prof Atillio Lotto will be leading the congenital cardiac surgery committee, while Mr Rory Beattie becomes the new co-chair of the thoracic surgery subcommittee.   Co-chairs play a vital leadership role within the SCTS and the wider specialty.  Congratulations to both Atillio and Rory. 

We also want to acknowledge the hard work of both Mr Andrew Parry and Prof Karen Redmond as they finish their terms of office, and we thank them for their important service to the Society.
