RCS-SCTS Cardiothoracic Surgical Specialty Lead

 

The SCTS is pleased to confirm the appointment of Professor Babu Naidu as the Royal College of Surgeons-SCTS Surgical Specialty Lead for a three-year term until July 2027.

 

The Cardiothoracic SSL acts as a key link between Surgical Trials Centres, other surgical units, and national clinical research networks. The SSL supports interested clinicians by providing a forum for discussing and developing clinical research proposals.

 

We wish Babu every success in his role promoting clinical research in cardiothoracic surgery to improve patient outcomes.
