The Department of Thoracic Surgery in MMUH is part of the national centre for cardiothoracic surgery and heart and lung transplantation. This busy tertiary referral unit offers elective, urgent and emergency thoracic surgery. The successful candidate would be assigned primarily to the thoracic surgery unit but would also be part of the cardiothoracic on call rota.
