National Training Post in Congenital Cardiac Surgery

Applications are now open for the national sub-speciality training post in congenital cardiac surgery.  This is a 2 year dedicated training program covering all aspects of congenital cardiac surgery including neonatal, paediatric and ACHD surgery as well as providing experience in transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.  The post is suitable for senior trainees with a NTN  who are considering pursuing a career in congenital cardiac surgery.  Satisfactory completion of the training program leads to sub speciality recognition in congenital cardiac surgery with the GMC.
