We invite you to join us for the SCTS Research Committee Strategy Away Day on 22 September 2026 at the BCS Offices in London.
This interactive 4-hour session will bring together key voices to build our 5-year strategy (2026–2031). Together, we will define our shared vision, address critical specialty challenges, and set the strategic priorities that will drive national leadership, support researchers, and transform patient outcomes.
Key focus areas for the day include:
- Our 2031 Vision: Defining what SCTS research will be known for nationally and internationally.
- The Future Landscape: Navigating AI, digital health, national datasets, and evolving research funding.
- Key Strategic Priorities: Identifying high-impact focus areas—from clinical trial infrastructure to academic workforce development.
- Actionable Outcomes: Setting clear ownership, 12-month quick wins, and long-term delivery plans.
