The Aspiring Congenital Heart Surgeons Association invites you to a session on the Art of the Arterial Switch Procedure.
We are honoured to welcome Professor. Julie Cleuziou, Deputy Director of Congenital and Paediatric Heart Surgery at the German Heart Centre Munich. Her training has taken her from Aachen and Wuppertal to Oxford with Professor Stephen Westaby, to London with Professor Marc de Leval, and back to Munich, where she has built a distinguished career in congenital cardiac surgery with particular interests in arterial switch surgery, valve reconstruction, and Ebstein anomaly.
This session will explore the arterial switch procedure in depth, including its anatomy, operative strategy, and the technical judgement that shapes each step of the operation. It promises to be a valuable opportunity for students and trainees to learn directly from one of Europe’s leading congenital surgeons.
This is a focused small-group session designed for engagement, where attendees will have the chance to question, and learn directly from expert surgical experience.
