Live animal operating (cardiac)

• Median sternotomy
• Internal mammary artery harvest
• Aortic / venous cannulation
• Cardioplegia cannulation
• Vent placement
• Proximal coronary anastomosis
• Distal coronary anastomosis
• Aortic valve replacement
• Sternal closure
• Emergency resternotomy
• Haemostasis and management of post-operative bleeding

Live animal operating (thoracic)

• Mediastinoscopy
• Thoracotomy
• VATS port insertion
• Wedge resection
• Pleurectomy
• Lobectomy
• Pneumonectomy
