The Wessex Cardiac Unit at Southampton General Hospital is one of the largest and most reputable cardiac centres in the UK. Established in 1972, it serves a population of around 2.8 million.

Access
Cars are allowed close access to the main entrance doors for quick drop off. A covered, pay-by-period car park is situated 75 metres away with good disabled access. A frequent bus and taxi service is available to the town and station (3 miles away).
Visiting hours
Ward visiting hours are between 9am – 1pm and 2.30pm – 9pm. No fixed hours for intensive care units, but ideally 9am – 9pm.
