About the unit

The surgical unit opened in June 1999 and 4 surgeons perform approximately 700 major adult cardiac proceedures per year in two dedicated operating theatres.

Rehabilitation and follow up

All 4 phases of rehab. for all patients requiring cardiac services.

Access

Car: M23 to Brighton then 1 mile along Eastern Road. Train: to Brighton then taxis or No7 bus. No helipad yet!

Visiting hours

Ward 7A: 3-5 PM then 7-8.30 PM
