DESCRIPTION:\n\nSCTS Revision & Viva Course for the FRCS (C-Th)\n\n \n\nThis course will be delivered in hybrid format. Two days (4 - 5 March 2025) will consist of online lectures. Meanwhile, the last two days (6 - 7 March 2025) will consist of in-person Viva sessions which will be held at Ashorne Hill. \n\nContent includes:\n\nCoronary artery disease\n\nAortic valve disease\n\nMitral / tricuspid valve disease\n\nArrhythmia surgery\n\nCardiopulmonary bypass\n\nCardiac ITU management\n\nHeart failure, cardiac tumours, pericardial disease & trauma\n\nThoracic aortic disease\n\nCongenital cardiac disease\n\nCardiac instruments\n\nThis course is aimed at Nationally Appointed Surgical Trainees and Trust Appointed Doctors in the UK (via application process)  due to be taking part 2 of the FRCS (C-Th). All those due to sit the Spring 2025 iteration of the exam will be prioritised in the application process. Application process now closed! \n\n \n\n
