Dias - Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Harvard Medical School; Director of Research and Innovation, STRATUS Center for Medical Simulation; Director and Lead Investigator, Human Factors & Cognitive Engineering Lab. \n\nDr Dias is a physician-scientist and his research focuses on the application of cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, wearable sensors, digital biomarkers and extended reality (XR) to assess and enhance clinicians' performance and improve patient safety in a variety of fields, including emergency medicine, critical care, surgery and space medicine. His research is funded by the NIH, AHRQ, NASA e DoD.\n\nHe was trained in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the University of Sao Paulo Medical School, in Brazil and earned a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences and an M.B.A in Hospital and Health System Administration. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, developing research in simulation, human factors, non-technical skills, wearable sensors and machine learning.\n\nMr. Vivek Srivastava (Moderator) - Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Oxford University Hospitals NHS FT; Member and Webinar Lead, Surgical Specialty Board for Cardiothoracic Surgery, RCSEd.\n\n \n\nCPD - 1 Hour\n\nTo be eligible to receive CPD hours for webinar attendance you must connect for the full duration of the webinar AND complete the feedback survey.\n\nVisit our FAQ for further information relating to webinar CPD.\n\nRecording\n\nA recording of the webinar will be made available on this page in the days following the live broadcast.\n\n
