DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n\nContinuing on from the success of previous meetings we are delighted to invite you to join our 6th UK Meeting on Laser Applications in Thoracic Surgery which will take place on Friday 7th July at Coombe Abbey Hotel, Coventry, and Saturday 8th July (morning only) at the West Midland Surgical Training Centre, Walsgrave Hospital.\n\n \n\nThe Program\n\nThe presentations on Friday will include:\n\nAn Introduction to Laser Technology and Laser Safety which covers the mandatory Core of Knowledge Course required for all Consultants/Registrars planning to use a laser. (The completion of the Core of Knowledge Course will be documented on the certificate issued at the end of the course.)\n\nThe advantages of having the LIMAX Laser within the Airway Armamentarium\n\nClinical experience of the LIMAX Laser in Metastasectomy: Open and VATS\n\nEvaluation of the resection area after laser use and local recurrence development\n\nFuture applications of the LIMAX Laser\n\nOn Saturday there will an opportunity to use the LIMAX Laser for Endobronchial, Open, and VATS Procedures on Pigs Lungs and Tracheae at the West Midland Surgical Training Centre.\n\nCLICK HERE TO VIEW THE LIMAX WORKSHOP FLYER\n\n \n\nWorkshop Details\n\nWorkshop Fee: £250 + VAT (Total £300).\n\nThis fee includes Practical exercises in the wet-labs, lectures, certificate, dinner on the Friday evening, other catering during the workshop, hotel accommodation on the 7th July, breakfast on the 8th July, and transfer to the wet-labs on the 2nd July (if required).\n\nAttendance is limited. Applicants are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.\n\n \n\nGeneral Terms & Conditions\n\nAttendees are accepted on the order that their written registration applications are received. Attendance at the workshop can only be reserved after the complete receipt of the payment. Cancellations are possible up to 6 weeks prior to the start of the workshop but a handling fee of £60 will be charged. Subsequently, there will be no refunds.\n\n
