Mr Shilajit Ghosh was appointed as a Thoracic surgeon at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust in 2007. His special interests are Minimal Access Surgery, chest wall surgery and Airway surgery and interventions. He has been the Clinical Lead for Thoracic Surgery since 2010. He has been intricately involved in training and teaching and is currently the Training Programme Director for Cardiothoracic Surgery for the West Midlands Deanery, member of the Specialist Advisory Committee for CTh Surgery and FRCS Part III Examiner.
